Finished early, went to the Oaks with Ang for a bit of retail therapy, Pam invited me to dinner, didn't know whether to eat it or climb it!! It was delicious though.

Back to work, time off flew by but it was all loads of fun, only worked til 12.30, came home and prepared a nice dinner, out for a long walk - very windy. Just beat my best score on Temple Run.

Shopped in Liverpool One, Jacques for lunch, moules were delicious, had a lovely day.

Monday 26.12.11 - Boxing Day

Had a great day at our Ang's, gathered more pressies for Leo, called to Colettes to spend some time with the boys.

Sunday 25.12.11 - Christmas Day

Had great Skype calls with my two lovely boys (well 3 actually as got to see Leo too) nice for my mum, Kenny and Reg to 'meet' Fi, this was our present from Santa for Leo, looks like he is enjoying it.

Saturday 24.12.11 - Christmas Eve

Went for a lovely meal with family to The Helsby Arms, great food even better company.

Finished work at 2.00pm, Paul had been off and cooked this chicken, chorizo dish, one of Nigella's, it was delicious.

Had a quick visit with Pam, she has about 1000 lights up, looks fab, she had made me a beautiful christmas card, she's very creative!

We had our christmas in the office, me and Ang enjoyed it anyway!!

Hoping to get all done in work before Thursday to have a relax on Friday - all going well, Paul on daft shift again, watched A Knights Tale which is an old favourite - Heath Ledger is brilliant.

Walked to Hooton to get car after yesterday, chilled out for rest of day, watched some Curb and James Bond and enjoyed some mussels - delicious.

Over to Liverpool with Zena and John to see Good Mourning Mrs Brown, very funny, had a couple of drinks around town and a lovely meal at Bistro Jacques, a good evening had by all!

Snowing when I got to work, luckily it didn't stick and cleared up later, went to the Swan for a quick drink before dinner.

Had a lovely evening with Les and Leah and her gorgeous girls, my christmas cards came today and I am made up with them, our little fella is beautiful.

Decided to put lights up in office, Ang did her usual pole dance !!

Took Col and the boys to The Yeoman for tea then home to watch Breaking Dawn, looking forward to part 2.

Back to markets for a roast pork, stuffing and apple sauce batch at the hog roast for breakfast! Bought some lovely cheeses, chutneys and other bits, had to try the gluhwein with a shot of Amaretto, rude not to.

Off to Manchester for christmas markets with Pam, had a great evening, ate some lovely food and tried a mug of gluhwein, it was very nice, not really a big fan of mulled wine usually, back to hotel for X Factor final.

Went over to The Bull to watch Everton v Arsenal, rubbish game but fab goal from Van Persie, Everton looking very dodgy this season.

Brought Paul a few of his favourite things back from Madrid !

Paul off, broke finger at work, came home to a delicious chicken and chorizo stew, nice work Mr F.

Back to work - still thinking about Leo, Paul insisted I take I-Pad, Ken downloaded Horrible Bosses - journey flew by (literally)

Easyjet + IPad = a really good flight ( glass of red helped!)

Last day in Madrid, really sad to be leaving, can't believe how much I will miss Leo, he is amazing.

Tuesday 6.12.11

Went for a lovely walk with Lucy and Leo, festival day in Madrid so loads of places closed, beautiful sunny day so really enjoyed being out and about, in the afternoon Leo and I went out on our own, had a great walk then stopped at Ojas Negros for coffee and a read on my kindle.

Gave Leo his morning feed, delightful, went out for coffee with Lucy, after lunch went for a long walk with Ken and Leo, watched Black Mirror - very dark.

Sunday 4.12.11

After a great breakfast went for a shoulder, neck and back massage, it was fab, called into garden centre that had a great christmas collection, home at 2pm, airport at 3.30pm, had a good flight and then the total joy of spending time with Leo before he went to bed.

Off to Norton Grange for a girly weekend, had a great time in the thermal pool, dinner was great, watched x factor and the jungle, good night had by all.

Went to Colettes for tea, boys full of fun as usual, they had a great time with a balloon.

Went round to Pams after work for a 'grandson' gab, her little fella is coming on a treat.

Half day at work, cooked a spag bol for tea, it was very tasty.

Hunt for port and stilton to give as gifts from office, got Offley Port from Morrisons, very handy, stilton proved a little bit tricky, ordered 24 from Asda, got 15, ordered 25 from Tesco, got none! Procured 11 from Morrisons, then Ang managed to carry 12 on her bike !! Still 2 short.

Paul busy on shower, pottered round tidying the garden, went up the Swan to watch 2nd half of Everton game. My hanging basket is still going strong.

Had a great evening with Les, hadn't seen her since our Leo arrived so had plenty to gab about, reminiscing about previous holidays, had a good laugh looking at all the old photos. This is Almeria for Paul's 50th.

Nice bright day, did a bit of shopping, Kenny came for tea, did my usual chicken and chorizo dish, it went down well, had a lovely 15 mins on the skype with Lucy and Leo and finally put the finishing touches so that Barbie and her friends can live in comfort!

Still in a christmas mood, went to Burleydam with Andy for lunch and purchased a LED tree for the garden, love it.

Zena and I had our first Christmas Dinner at Morrisons, wasn't bad considering it was only £4.75! Paul away in Scotland so called in on Colette and boys for a cup of tea on my way home then decided to tackle Barbie's Dream Townhouse that Zena is giving to Mia for Christmas, I might be here sometime!

Lazy day, done a bit of visiting, White Lion for lunch, nice chat with Sean. Paul got a new wagon so we went down to view, it was very nice!

Took mum shopping, had a lovely morning, came home to a skype call with my beautiful grandson (and beautiful son) watched Ken feed and wind him, the joys of modern technology, thank you Steve Jobs et al.

Met Kenny for a quick drink at Wethers, Sea Breeze for tea, best cantonese spare ribs ever. Watched Eclipse - bring on Breaking Dawn !

Never seen 15% wine before, also suits Mrs T as it mean Blue Barb !!

Nails done, showed photos of Leo to all the girls, dark at 4.30pm, drove to work so Paul & I went for a walk.

This one was 2 days before the man arrived. Lucy looks great.

Finally got around to visiting Pam, had a lovely evening talking about our grandsons, enjoyed a glass of red wine and take-away from Nice which was very nice!

Got lots of lovely congratulation cards but this is one is a bit special.

Walked to work again, Paul on mad 2am shift so quiet night with kindle seemed like the best idea.

In Seville, went to Alcazar alone and managed to get lost in the gardens, got a bit of a fright, the gardens were fantastic though.

Not much going on, Lucy is keeping me up to date with daily photos of Leo, which I am made up with, walked to work and felt better for it.

Whilst at Arcos, I ate rabbit and got to say it was delightful.

Paul working - I gave the house a good clean then settled down to watch Twilight and New Moon, I am reading Eclipse at the moment in prep for Breaking Dawn. Sean is not happy!!

Went to Liverpool to visit my lovely Auntie Vera, she was in hospital after breaking her hip, she is on the mend and looked really well. Had a quiet night in watching Curb.

Armistice day - went to Colette's for tea, joined by Tanya & Sara which was nice, Col cooked a delicious dinner, nice to see the boys too.
