Walked to Asda for our flu jabs, nippped over to Wethers for a glass of wine before dinner, bumped into Dawn and Mark, had a nice catch up as haven't seen them for ages.

Leftover stew for lunch, delightful, looked after Lucas for a bit, he had a ball wrestling with Paul!

You cannot move in this town at the moment with all the roadworks.

Made a delicious beef stew for tea, loads of beef, carrot, swede , leak and potato.

Walked to The White Lion for lunch, met up with Carol and Steve Forster, had a good catch up and heard all about Didge and Amanda's wedding.

Paul's birthday but he's stuck out on night out, had a lovely call from Sean and Fi, wedding plans coming along nicely, received this lovely photo from Lucy - this boy is beautiful.

Had a good walk after work followed by latest episode of Homeland, it's getting real good.

Our breakfast from yesterday, I had porridge, Paul - eggs benedict.

Walked to Zena's for car, stopped at Wethers for breakfast on the way after dropping off pressie for Dylan, prepared a delicious lunch then went for a good walk in Parkgate, great relaxing day.

Paul on night out so caught up on the soaps, Emmerdale hotting up nicely for the live episode next week! Adam & Ryan both 18 this week, party tomorrow, had this card made for them.

New challenge at SW, 1 stone before christmas, lost 4lb this week so off to a flying start!

Zena and I have been getting into some soups cooked in the kitchen at work!, this is potato and leek, it was delicious.

Getting back into the Wii for the cold dark nights! Had a quick game of Balance Boat before Paul went to work.

Got the boys Real Madrid kits, dropped them off after work and they were thrilled to bits, tore their uniforms off to put the kits on and straight out with the football.

Went for run with Paul, yes I did say run, really enjoyed it, following a plan so didn't overdo it but hope I can get into it.

Took Haydn to Liverpool Academy to play football, did some visiting and cooked a nice chicken noodle soup, watched a film called Bernie which was surprisingly good, had a good MOTD as both Everton & Liverpool had won.

Took Col and boys out for tea to the Rake, watched Allegra Mcevedy's Turkish delights, great cookery program, lovely for us to see Istanbul.

Always thinking about this lovely boy.

Back to work. Put on a couple of pounds at SW so really getting stuck in for next week. Couldn't walk as weather rubbish.

Bought ourselves a coffee maker in Madrid.

Hospital appointment, Paul and I cooked a Lancashire Hot Pot for lunch and Leo, we ate and ran as flying home today, Leo enjoyed his dinner later .

Tuesday 25.9.12

Paul and I spent the whole day with Leo whilst Ken & Lucy worked, walked to Sol, did a bit of shopping a little nibble in Mercado de San Miguel. Home for Leo's lunch then back out for a menu del dia round the corner from the apartment, lovely couple really made us feel welcome.

Monday 24.9.12

Cooked a nice bolognese dish for our lunch and for Leo, he really enjoyed it, Paul arrived at 5ish, out down the river for a play, Leo loved the swings.

Sunday 23.9.12

El Rastro in the morning, met Lucy for a nice lunch at Ojos Negros, had a great day with Leo.

Madrid.

Ken & I took Leo to the river so he could have a play about, weather lovely and we had such a good time with him, he looks fantastic and full of mischief!

Went to Col's for tea, she done a lovely chicken dish, Paul had good fun with the boys playing football.

Going to Madrid Saturday and ace news, Paul is coming over on Monday for a few days.

Walked along the coast for 8 miles, ace. Decided to leave today so I could go to work and have 3 days off next week for Madrid.

Went to Devils Kitchen for a good hike, had a great couple of hours, hard work though.

Best news is that Leo was going home today.

Weather awful, went into Llanberis to the slate mines then to The Padarn Lake Hotel for a really tasty lunch. View from one of the storerooms at the slate mines.

Off to Caernarfon for a few days, caravan is in ideal location, near to castle and town, went for a good walk then met Barb & Neil in the Tafarn Y Porth (Wetherspoons!)

Had some catching up to do has didn't do a lot in work yesterday, went to SW, lost 1/2, went for a good walk. Got ready for our few days in Caernarfon.
