Took mum to meet Leo, she was made up and we had a lovely afternoon with him, he has a wonderful effect on everyone, love him to bits.

Leo is coming to England today, really looking forward to seeing him tomorrow. Packed and ready to go!!!

Another glorious days, clocks forward - summer is on the way. This is walking home from an evening stroll at 7.30pm.

Cycled to West Kirby and back, it was a killer, new bike is ace though, weather was glorious too.

Happy Mothers Day !

Had two great skype calls with Sean and Fi and then Ken, Lucy and Leo, visited mum, had a lovely lunch and then just relaxed.

This is our Lucas yesterday, we had boys as Colette's car broke down and she was stuck waiting for AA man.

After posing around the piano in hotel foyer, headed into town for breakfast, the city is rammed at 10.30am, lots of our Irish cousins getting ready for St Patrick's Day, could not move in Wethers for love nor money, found a space in Tess Riley's for a bacon buttie and a nice cup of tea. Kenny told me later it was one of my dads old haunts.

Friday 16.3.12

Finished early, train to Liverpool, walked along the waterfront and finally found the Radisson Blu Hotel, checked in and relaxed with a nice glass of wine, booked a table at Francs, phoned a taxi, got to restaurant, had a glorious meal, over to the Echo to watch the Commitments, taxi back to hotel, glass of wine to chill out, bed by midnight - a good day had by all.

Visited Miss Mia to see the damage, she is actually fine and was in good spirits.

Walked to work, Zena off as Mia had accident yesterday - thankfully nothing too serious.

Out with Paul training after work, he has really upped the pace but managed to keep up and impressed myself, feeling fitter every day.

Being at the Chagall exhibition last week reminded me of being with Ken in Zurich as Marc Chagall had designed the stained glass windows at The Fraumunster Abbey in Zurich. They are amazing to see.

Walked to Colette's, haven't seen the boys for a bit, they were full of energy ! The sky has been amazing lately, Mars is in view and the moon is looking mighty fine.

Day off for Auntie Vera's funeral, sad day but as is usual at these occasions it's always good to catch up with the family, always say we must get together when it's not a sad time but we never do.

Back to work, went for a run/jog at 5.45am with Pam, after work Kenny visited and brought his new little dog, Jack.

Visited Pam, White Lion for lunch and a relaxing day - this is our little fella enjoying a snooze whilst we were having a cuddle the other day.

Babysat Leo last night and had a lovely morning with him, after we had our breakfast we went up to Carrefour to get some ham and tortillas to bring home for grandad, back to UK today, had a fantastic time with Leo, he is learning something new everyday.

Chagall exhibition at the Thysssen-Bornemisza was excellent, Leo loved being in his sling, had a good look at all that was on offer. 

Thursday 1.3.12

Visit to physiotherapist  for Leo, good walk back from hospital, stopped for a nice lunch on the way back, Leo sleeping all night and full of fun during the day.

Wednesday 29.2.12

Madrid to see our beautiful boy, he has had a helmet fitted today to correct his head alignment, will be on for about 3 months, lovely to see him again, he is amazing, went for a nice walk in the Madrid sunshine.
