Went to Jabula for dinner, wasn't thrilled, food was OK but drumming too loud, enjoying being with Sean & Fi though.

Back to work then met Sean & Fi down the Oaks, treated myself to a new one cup teapot, going to try and get into the fruit teas, lost 3lb at Slimming World.

Wednesday 27.6.12

Last day so making the most of it, went for a pedicure and then out for lunch before the flight.

Another lovely day - took Leo the pool early then out for a good walk.

Monday 25.6.12

Took Leo for a good walk, met Ken at Reina Sofia , checked out the exhibitions, fed Leo in a lovely cool spec, lovely.

Paul's last day and Lucy off to Nigeria, had lunch at home, swordfish salad - delicious.

Saturday 23.6.12

Looked after Leo, went out walking, met Ken and Lucy for lunch at The Europa Cafe, we took Leo out for tea later, a lovely day.

Friday 22.6.12

Took Leo the pool, very hot, well in the 90's, Paul took him for a swim, he loved it. Ken and Lucy joined us later, love this one.

Madrid!!! Easyjet flight from Liverpool is a dream, met Ken at Atocha, Leo as adorable as ever, went out with Ken to watch Portugal match, Paul and I stayed out and visited a couple of bars around their neighbourhood.

Last day in work for a week, chinese for lunch, home, dinner, packing, tidying then bed, Madrid tomorrow.

European cup been on since Friday, England v Ukraine tonight, stayed in to watch, England won so went top of the group, Italy next.

Took Col and boys to The Rake, bought a new patio set, made up with it.

Happy Fathers Day ! Took mum and Reg to the Duke for lunch, they really enjoyed it, Reg had a reminise with Pam and had a good time.

Spent the day sorting out the garden, Kenny came to give Paul a hand, made up with how it turned out, went for a nice meal with Les & Joe to Cafe India then back to theirs for a drink and a gab, lovely evening.

New fences up, back garden looks great, can't believe how much lighter now all the conifers have gone, love it.

Busy day, trying to get organised for my week off, lost 1lb at slimming world, watched 'Jeff who lives at home', not a bad film.

Paul on nights so in charge of the cooking, I came home to this, chicken, chorizo, jersey royals, carrot, celery and onion, it was delightful.

After yesterdays fiasco with the garden we have decided to have a full renovate, first stop was the garden centre for ideas, love this water feature.

Went Geocaching to Royden Park with Tanya, Sara and Chloe (master geocacher!) seen a whole new side to West Kirby, had a really good day.

Train to Hamilton Square and walked to New Brighton along the coast, great walk and New Brighton is fab, they have really spent a lot of money, definitely worth a visit.

Rained all day - ruined everyone's jubilee celebrations. Took Mum and Reg to White Lion for lunch then had the boys for Colette.

Cycled down the canal towards Chester before it lashed down, did some cooking, went to Bull for a drink and met Karin & Kev, had a little catch up then home for dinner.
