Went for run with Paul, yes I did say run, really enjoyed it, following a plan so didn't overdo it but hope I can get into it.

Saturday 29.9.12

Took Haydn to Liverpool Academy to play football, did some visiting and cooked a nice chicken noodle soup, watched a film called Bernie which was surprisingly good, had a good MOTD as both Everton & Liverpool had won.

Friday 28.9.12

Took Col and boys out for tea to the Rake, watched Allegra Mcevedy's Turkish delights, great cookery program, lovely for us to see Istanbul.

Always thinking about this lovely boy.

Thursday 27.9.12

Back to work. Put on a couple of pounds at SW so really getting stuck in for next week. Couldn't walk as weather rubbish.

Bought ourselves a coffee maker in Madrid.

Wednesday 26.9.12

Hospital appointment, Paul and I cooked a Lancashire Hot Pot for lunch and Leo, we ate and ran as flying home today, Leo enjoyed his dinner later .

Tuesday 25.9.12

Paul and I spent the whole day with Leo whilst Ken & Lucy worked, walked to Sol, did a bit of shopping a little nibble in Mercado de San Miguel. Home for Leo's lunch then back out for a menu del dia round the corner from the apartment, lovely couple really made us feel welcome.

Monday 24.9.12

Cooked a nice bolognese dish for our lunch and for Leo, he really enjoyed it, Paul arrived at 5ish, out down the river for a play, Leo loved the swings.

Sunday 23.9.12

El Rastro in the morning, met Lucy for a nice lunch at Ojos Negros, had a great day with Leo.

Saturday 22.9.12

Madrid.

Ken & I took Leo to the river so he could have a play about, weather lovely and we had such a good time with him, he looks fantastic and full of mischief!

Friday 21.9.12

Went to Col's for tea, she done a lovely chicken dish, Paul had good fun with the boys playing football.

Going to Madrid Saturday and ace news, Paul is coming over on Monday for a few days.

Tuesday 18.9.12

Walked along the coast for 8 miles, ace. Decided to leave today so I could go to work and have 3 days off next week for Madrid.

Monday 17.9.12

Went to Devils Kitchen for a good hike, had a great couple of hours, hard work though.

Best news is that Leo was going home today.

Weather awful, went into Llanberis to the slate mines then to The Padarn Lake Hotel for a really tasty lunch. View from one of the storerooms at the slate mines.

Off to Caernarfon for a few days, caravan is in ideal location, near to castle and town, went for a good walk then met Barb & Neil in the Tafarn Y Porth (Wetherspoons!)

Paul on a night out, went the Oaks for a look at Next, got a nice top.

Just started Dorothy Koomson's new book.

Had some catching up to do has didn't do a lot in work yesterday, went to SW, lost 1/2, went for a good walk. Got ready for our few days in Caernarfon.

Surgery went really well.

Walked to Hooton for car, cooked a lovely dinner and then just chilled.

New Brighton yesterday.

Train to Hoylake then walked to New Brighton got the train back to Overpool and met Colette at Wethers for a glass of wine.

Had a lovely skype with Leo before work, made my day.

Paul got me a new Kindle.

Surgery cancelled at last minute, this is our little man ready and waiting.

Pam took me out, spent hours is new M and S, after it closed at 10, sat down by the canal with a glass of wine, received this one from Lucy after they had booked in.

Monday 3.9.12

Walked to work, it was a lovely day, found some figs on the market, this is one of Lucy's ideas, figs, manchego and a drizzle of balsamic, delicious.

Walked to Hooton for car then cooked a lovely roast, hoping for a relaxing day.

Col's for Lucas's 4th birthday, lovely to see Tanya, Sara, Jenny & Hayley, off to Lark Lane and Sefton Park for food festival, back into town met our Ronnie in Renshaws, had a great day.
